I just realized that I find myself trying to get used to a lot of things lately. (Something’s off with that previous sentence so let me reiterate.) I’ve experienced a lot of important things (that may or may not be life changing, but I have yet to find out) in just two weeks. I’ve been experiencing feelings from both ends of the spectrum, so to say. Highs and lows.
- Just got a job and loving it!
- Met a lot of crazy people, which is good! I love being with weird people. It makes me seem almost normal.
- Had my share of tears and sadness over something. Don’t get me wrong though, I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. It’s just something overwhelming happened last weekend.
So I guess, right now, I feel blessed that even at the end of the year, God still has a lot of things to give. It’s pretty strange how life can turn into a different direction when you least expect it.
Well, here’s to a brighter (and crazier) year! Cheers!

Seeing so many photos from different bloggers on Christmas, particularly on snow, makes me feel like I’m missing out on a lot. I’ve only seen snow twice. The first time was in Bryce Canyon at Utah, and at that time, the snow was actually more of ice. It was spring and the snow had begun to melt, so it was like more of chunks of ice than snow. The second time, I was at Whistler in Canada and I only saw it from afar. It was summer at that time.
I think right now, “seeing snow and really experiencing” it is number one in my bucket list, followed closely by “getting a tattoo” and “backpacking in Europe”. I want to know how it feels like stepping on snow and experiencing like the first snowfall. I also want to try skiing and snowboarding.
There’s so much things I wish I could do right now, but of course, I still feel lucky for what I have right now. :) Soon.
